Price the drive before expanding the ad radius.

Compare a straight-line circle with seven saved routes from Seattle City Hall. Then put your own job and crew assumptions beside the travel. The map and calculator work offline.

Real public route snapshot. Invented financial defaults. Collected October 24, 2026 from FOSSGIS OSRM's car server. These are modeled routes, without live traffic or fleet observations. Only seven civic destinations are available; this tool cannot route another address.

1. Set the planning limits

Both thresholds include their boundary. Changing the circle reclassifies these seven points; it does not create an isochrone or show Google ad eligibility.

2. Enter one job's economics

All defaults below are invented USD assumptions. Use collected amounts and consistent cost definitions.

Keep additional foregone contribution at zero if unknown. With an empty board it may be zero. Contribution after opportunity cost is a decision measure; it is not cash profit.

3. Compare the circle with the route

Teal: inside both limits. Orange: inside radius, above time limit. Purple: inside time, outside radius. Gray: outside both or unknown. Numbered civic points match the table. Select a point or table button.

Jobs fitting the entered hours is only an arithmetic upper bound for identical jobs and this crew. It does not check shifts, skills, appointments or travel between customers.

Read the result with the dispatch board

Cash contribution = collections − variable job costs − vehicle travel cash − extra travel wages. Decision contribution also subtracts your optional additional foregone contribution. Fixed overhead, ad acquisition cost and taxes still need coverage. A positive result alone does not approve a job.

Return travel comes from a separate directed table request, rather than doubling outbound time. The provider returned driving-only steps for all seven outbound routes, including long road paths to Bainbridge Island and Bremerton. The result does not evaluate an alternative ferry journey, ferry wait, fare or timetable.

Method, downloads and source

Origin: Seattle City Hall, a public central reference rather than a contractor's shop. Destinations were selected before routing: Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond, Renton, Burien, Bainbridge Island and Bremerton city halls. Seven points illustrate different directions and crossings; they are not a representative sample of customers, cities or service territories.

Coordinates are saved Nominatim/OpenStreetMap search results with OSM object IDs. Haversine uses the input coordinates and a mean Earth radius of 3,958.7613 statute miles. Route distances and durations use the provider's snapped road positions. A missing route remains unknown. The API did not supply its graph-data timestamp.
